During the 1986-87 and 1997-98 school years, Mother Cabrini High School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[2], the highest award an American school can receive.[3][4]
Mother Cabrini High School attracts students from "all over New York City and Westchester, with a large concentration of students from Manhattan and the Bronx."
Orientation lasts for two days and is designed to introduce students to the building, faculty, and peers. For the first six weeks of class, the guidance department assists students in their adjustment to high school. Each student is assigned a senior or junior to be their peer counselor. All new students meet with a guidance counselor once a cycle.
Mother Cabrini High School (MCHS) offers specialized and distinctive programs of study to enhance the education of students.
